How Heating Systems Work

There are so many kinds of heating systems. Devices have been developed so that people in cold climates can have warmth and comfort in their homes and workplaces. These heating systems typically use a furnace, boiler or heat pump to heat steam, water or air. The system also involves a group of ducts, forced air systems or pipes so that the heated fluid can be distributed. This is where radiators become useful. They are used to transfer this heat into the air. In this case, there might be a misinterpretation of the word radiator. This is because radiators use the process of convection (the process of conveying) instead of radiation when transferring heat. Radiators are buried under the floor or mounted on a wall to provide heat. Radiators have been around since the 19th century. Today, they are still being used despite technological advancement in heating systems.
